Imelda May

This woman is an amazing singer, her album Mayhem is incredible. Imelda is a modern day rockabilly singer from Ireland with fans from all over the world. I first heard of her as the magazine Burlesque Bible once featured a page about artists to check out. They featured her song Big Bad Handsome Man from her album Love Tattoo. I have been hooked ever since!

Tomorrow will be day 1 of starting my dreams!

Today I read this amazing mini mag by Ree Ree Rockette about starting your own buisness and starting up. As someone who would desperately love to start my own buisness myself, I found it truely inspirational. For a long time I have wanted to start my own small buisness run from home in which I make my own fascinators. Unfortunately the dreams and plans were put on hold due to the fact I got too consumed with real life, being an adult and cashless! All these factors still stand in my way, but I figured if I don't do it now, then I never will. I don't want to be that person who regrets what they didn't do in life. So, this year I am determined to get my ideas off the ground and try and start my own buisness. I know I won't make any money, and it's going to be a really hard journey getting it off the ground but I am prepared for all the hardwork! Each month I am going to set myself a task in which I need to achieve. Each week I am going to take tiny steps in order to get myself sorted. I have all these plans but nothing on paper so tomorrow I *WILL* get my arse into gear and show some evidence of my ideas! The plan is to get some drawings together and create a moodboard. Then I am going to start making my own fascinators which i am going to wear to various events and hopefully try and get the word out! Wish me luck!

Anna Fur Laxis

I would absolutely love to see this lady perform one day. How beautiful is she?

How beautiful would these be to wear at a wedding? I really need some new party dresses!
Words can not explain how much I wish I was going to this! http://www.theblitzparty.com/pictures

Offerings from Heyday.

I've got a thing for vintage trousers at the moment. I can't deside which sailor slacks I prefer! Both are lovely colours. And the moment I get a proper job, where I have to look smart and professional, I am going to buy this suit! Oh a girl can dream...
After looking for ages for my own pair of vintage specs and not finding any, I finally came across this website. http://www.deadmensspex.com/default/1950s-style-spectacles-cats-eye-r22.html They are updated regually with loads of new glasses from multiple eras and are deffinately worth the money. I bought some of my own recently ( not fromt this site mind, ) and i can't wait to turn them into perscription lenses so I can wear them all the time! I am absolutely in love with cat eye glasses and want to collect as many as I can!

Must buy item.

I just found this on the website What Katie Did. One thing I find with repo vintage shapewear is thats it's hard to find corsetlettes that fit a petite body, as they just run up too long! The black colour is lovey and will deffinately be going on my wishlist! http://www.whatkatiedid.com/product/791-l3021-cabaret-torsolette
